If you ever thought “we just need people to communicate better,” this one might hurt a little 🤏
In this case, world-class surgeons didn’t solve their handover problem by asking everyone to try harder. They contacted Formula One teams and ended up redesigning movement in an operating theatre with input from engineers and even dance coordinators.
I’ve already shared the case study from a Lean Six Sigma perspective, focusing on structure, redesign and measurable impact. But that version doesn’t fully capture how the idea emerged, how the collaboration actually unfolded, and why cross-industry learning worked in the first place.
So I prepared this carousel to tell that side of the story.
